on a second thought....it's more of a "ask her to leave" or "kick her out" rather than "let her go" isn't it?
cos in this case she's not the one who wants to go...isn't it?

it's just a euphemism, I could have just used the word "dump" in place of 'let her go'
so your partner moved on to another dude, or his orientation is both ways? cuz' being your 'type' might complicate matters u know. can u be sure that he really did like guys too? or he might just be in for the hell of it.
