oh, don't get me wrong, I just used those things as an example of what typically goes wrong. It can come from guys too. It's just that shit does happen... a lot.

yes, everyone must take responsibility of their own choices. but how do we make an informed choice until we're past the honey moon stage to find out all the things we have to put up with maybe for the rest of our lives? I think the choosing really only begins after the honey moon stage. Anything before that is a rushed choice and very often a mistake.
