To impress is not to "show off" your good grades but the professionalism of the resume and the choice of words you use in the documents including your cover letter...
all the years i have been in this field i never once looked at the grades or GPA, and I recruit from entry level warehouse or office positions all the way to professional finance controllers or VPs...
a lot of the stuff they taught in schools are generalize and are "book knowledge" but "book knowledge" often contradicts to actual reality...most of the things i learned back in school about interviewing skills or resume-building skills were, sad to say...quite mis-leading...
but anyways...it's absolutely your choice of what information you wish to disclose on job applications to employers...Mucha and I are just sharing the actual reality and experience coming from the our stand points - employers' views...
