humm.. I have a cat ... I am sure my cat can catch your bird if it flys inside the house.. cuz I have seen my cat caught one of those brown color bird in the front yard...... and my cat plays with the bird... .ie ..let it go...then catch it right back.. then let it go.. and catch it back... repeat and repeat.. ahahahh
oh..want me to look after your bird ? hhehehe
