Everyone has this idea that we'll be a better parent than our own but the truth is (not that I am a parent now now) is that we'll just flying blind for most of the flight. There's no manual on how to be a parent but I guess we can always try.

I do hope to communicate better with my kids though my gf says I'll have to be the bad guy in the parenthood... but then again, I know I am strict and I need to loosen up as well. Ahh well, when it happens, it happens. :)
