I'll use myself as an example the cars he is talking about are way more expensive.
$50,000 car + tax = $58,500
$4,000 insurance for 5 years = $20,000
$18,000 in mods
$3000 misc ex car care product, oil, fluids etc
$30 in gas every week ($30*260) = $7,800
$1,000 in maintenance
$58,000+$20,000+$18,000+$3,000+$7,800+$1,000=$107,800
