Traum: I cannot agree with you at all, aiaiai. Your line of reasoning is completely flawed.

to Traum: How, where or what part is completely flawed? Ok when I made that post it was like 3a.m. or something. Let me make my argument more clear:

First of all, please go look look the topic:
" How much would you spend to buy your kids a car?"

As you can see, virtually all ppl agree that they do not or very reluctant to buy good car to their children.

Now, I make severals assumptions:
1. People replied that thread are qualified to represent ALL PEOPLE in GVA (or narrower range, Asian community in GVA). This is important assumption. I admit I do not have any evidence to validate this assumption thus I have nothing to defend. So if you say this assumption is wrong then my conclusion is indeed flawed.

2. This thought does not change over time.
3. People currently with age 40~60 (age of our parents) have similar thoughts.

Last two assumptions are supported by observations that my parents and ALL OF my parents' friends also have same thought (dun spoil kids, not only that, they also want kids to eat bitter (吃苦), and tell u what, i am really suffered from this thought, i get NOTHING, especially my BASIC FREEDOM, are taken away from my parents).

This leads to the fact that parents won't buy good car (or cloth, bag, shoes, etc etc) to their children no matter how wealthy they are.
