it's no use.. if you're with shaw u're with the cable of doom. There is a little toy they bought called ellacoya. it has been widely discused in dslreports.com forums that shaw is throttling BT traffic.
that ellacoya toy they have sits at their root hub and sniffs out BT packets and shoots them down. so u get crappy speeds all the time, but when u just view web page etc. it's still fast.
so if u're with telus, consider urself lucky. if u're with shaw and u have a choice, switch to telus.

wut is considered slow?
cuz i am with shaw, and if i d/l recent files i can get speed up to 150kb/s
i dont consider that slow..considering i had speed of 5kb/s before~but that was for old files~
