wanna know if i should declare tax or not...

if yes...then what to do when the amount is over $750?

i brought my laptop on my trip and have declared the item at the customs.

however on my way back they never checked my laptop, it was in my carry-on bag...

i guess they don't really check it. same with cameras too i think, there are tones of people who don't declare these items when they leave the country nor does canadian customs enforce it very much... but if you come back with over 750$ of goods, then they will do a search of your belongings to see what you have.

I don't think it's neccessary to declare the notebook because you are using it. You only need to declare items which you acquired outside of Canada. If I were you, I will just bring the notebook and adapter back. The rest of the stuff, I will mail it back. I will also customized the notebook with stickers and stuff so it doesn't look new.

If you declare more than your limit, the custom will tax you on the amount minus $750.

那要看看你的laptop是新的還是舊的
如果有半年舊的是不會被打稅的
可是當然要有收據證明啦~
