那我的insurance會變貴一點嗎?

比如我開acura車, insurance大約$2000一年
然後我換新車, for example, i buy BMW car, then insurance會變成$3000-4000多一年嗎??

還是一樣$2000一年?

車子保險多少錢也要看是什麼車
通常比較貴的車或是多車禍紀錄的車種保險都會比較貴
可是如果你保險是本來就有 40% 的 discount
那你買新車的保險還是 40% discount

今天剛剛renew了保險
車子是2006年BMW 325i，去年買的
買的時候車價錢是稅前$50,000 多一點

Basic Insurance $1382
Optional insurance:
Extension 3rd party legal liability ($3,000,000 total limit) $338
Collision $500 deductible $1078
Comprehensive $300 deductible $577
Roadside Plus $78
Limited Depreciation Coverage $318

Licence Fee $61
Total $3,832

那你看你自己有多少Discount，Roadside Plus 和Limited Depreciation Coverage是沒有Discount的

如果是買luxury car的話建議買Limited Depreciation Coverage
保險公司說這個是新車才能買的
萬一你的車子total lost (touch wood!) 的話，ICBC會賠你買車時的價格
但這個保險只能買3年，3年以後就不能再買

BMW 3 series的保險和Honda Civic差不多呢~
BMW之前是開一台2005年的Civic Couple 兩門的， 車價around $20,000
保險也要$3,800!!
