is your type those gas type ? .. well. if the "little fire" is off.. you have to make sure you have turned off the gas supply

well.. I suggest you make sure it off.. and then leave it there for a few days..

then after a few days... the knob which you turn off the gas... that knob.. should allow you to push it in .. so.. push it in . and hold a match to the "little fire" opening... that should restart it.

you forgot to tell her to open the windows to air off the gas that might have dissipated into the house. I know it's cold, but you'll have to suck it up unless you want to get blown up. (<- that rhymes! xD)

hehehe...Now I don't have to worry about this snowing winter ...
