well.. their california roll is the best I've ever tried...
even tho it doesn't look that good..
those more expensive japanese restaurants make the sushis prettier
but they are not nearly as good as this :shakehead
I can tell u musashi is not a fancy japanese restaurant
裝潢破舊, 餐具也不怎麼樣, 食物看起來不高級, 價錢也不高級
他並不是一家高級的日本料理店
可是喜歡 cali roll and toro 的人去過都說讚哦 :good:

I totally understand what you mean :)
the ones in musashi 比較粗糙
the one you posted is more 精緻
that's the price difference

maybe your liking of jap food and our liking of jap food is just different

Hum... thanks for the pictures, but they don't look good enough to make me want to eat them~ I'd say it's a little 粗製濫造~

I mean... look at:
the 1st 2 pic, where's the rice? Too thin ba...
Assorted Sashimi, too 'Chunky'...
look at "Salmon & Tuna Sushi", aren't they a bit too thin and too long?
Uni & Ikura Sushi, .... The uni doesn't look very good, too watery.
Samon Maki, not even in a shape of a maki... neither square nor round...

So where exactly is Musashi? I wounldn't go~ :)

I think when u said "where's the rice?" you don't know how big the sushi is

so compare to the stuff inside you think there's too little rice

too "chunky".. I was actually surprised when I saw the chief cut it like that too

but no one set any rules sushimi has to be cut in which shape right?

salmon & tuna sushi.. yeah they are really long
and maybe it's too long so u think it's too thin
but trust me it's not too thin at all
you know when u go to japan..
the fish they give u on the nigiri sushi is like loooooooooooong too?

and yeah I don't like the uni and ikura either @@

and salmon maki.. yeah it's not in a right shape
because the chief was too greedy trying to put too much salmon inside
so he couldn't squeeze into a roll

I like the chief tho.. he isn't trying to make pretty sushis
but he tries to make it taste good + best value

yeah you can give it a try

but it's different from the kinda jap restaurant in the pics u posted

or the parking lot near safeway ($5)
