To provide administrative and secretarial support to the CommunityHealth Initiative by University Students (CHIUS). Duties include:supporting clinics, programs and executives; working with studentleadership by attending meetings and regular email communication;taking meeting minutes; assisting with coordination and recordkeeping of orientation events; organizing catering for specialevents; updating databases; assisting with checkingemail account; maintaining memberships of mailinggroups; issuing passwords and user names to new volunteers;attending external conferences; assisting with administration ofYouth Wellness Project; collecting updates for web site fromexecutives, formatting and forwarding to webmaster; organizingconference calls; assisting with paper and electronic promotion ofconference; designing and distributing mail-outs, emails andposters; assisting with scholarship competition; arranging travel,accommodation and reimbursements; providing conference day supportand leading presentation; writing, editing and contributing togrants; assisting to research new grant opportunities; assisting todevelop and implement brand new scheduling system; creating UsersGuide for volunteers; acting as liaison with national and UBCgroups; and performing other related duties.
