"Hidden" Restaurants

There are so many small, cozy, unique, special & good food quality restaurants in vancouver, but they are not very well known. I call them the "hidden" restaurants. They may not have the best decors, but very personal and serve amazing food. The ones on my favorite list are: Yoshoku-ya, Accents Restaurant, L'Emotion.
Do you guys have any hidden restaurants on your list to share? :)

on main st. in between 32nd and 33rd, there r two restaurants
one is 小小咖啡屋, serves french bread and vietnamese and chinese food
another is 小龍記, serves shanghai food, it's real shanghai food, cuz the chef used to be a chef back in shanghai
they r both super busy during lunch time, i always had to do take out

一炮而紅~ 不錯吃~~ 老闆人又好~

還有一家韓國燒烤~在coq center 附近~ johnson st 那條開上去~~會經過petro can ~~然後看到hsbc~ 之後左轉~ 好吃~風景也很棒~ 因為是山腰上~ 空氣也特別新鮮~~

hey, I totally agree with Rickao. 一炮而紅 is a great place. I still remember I used to go there for lunch ALL the time when I was going to sfu. I love their Taro Tart.

I think it's at the corner of Clark & North Rd. It has a Adult Video store beside it.

did any of you tried Le Gavroche?

It's a very hidden French restaurant on Alberni. I haven't tried it yet. I missed it over the dineout event last year. Really want to go and try it out this year. anyone tried it before?
