加拿大卑詩省 美食誘惑饕客

品嚐風味美食，絕對是旅行的重點。為吸引饕客，加拿大溫哥華及維多利亞美食品嚐月將相繼在1、2月登場，將提供超值優惠的價格，讓遊客品嚐加拿大風味美食。這段期間前往加拿大，可以把握機會。 加拿大卑詩省旅遊局台灣區經理張碧珊表示，卑詩省溫哥華美食品嚐月(Dine Out Vancouver)為1月20日至2月2日舉行，為期14天。響應的餐廳分佈廣泛，包括餐廳最集中的耶魯鎮(Yaletown)、蓋士鎮 (Gastown)、西溫哥華(West Vancouver)等，餐廳種類多元，有頂級的晚宴餐廳，溫馨取勝的家庭廚房，還有座落於山頂、球場、熱帶雨林或港灣河畔的景觀餐廳，每家餐廳將都自行設計了不同的套餐，包含前菜、主菜和甜點共3道美食，然後再以超優惠的售價吸引顧客。套餐價格有15元、25元或35元(約台幣375元、625元、 875元，稅外加)3種選擇，價格十分優惠。

That's true...
I just haven't been to Gotham before. It's a once a life time experience.
I did that with Lumiere as well last year, but the experience was not very great. The service & the food was just okay. I won't go back to Lumiere unless I can afford their $100 menu.

I've heard good things about Lumiere's.. that's why Aku and I want to go try it this year...

but using the online reservation system they have... they seems to be booked up till Feb 3rd already... I'm trying to call them and see if I can get any thing after that.. but i've been getting a busy signal for the past 2 hours....

I looked at Nu, but it's not something that really interestes me.. any other suggestions for French food?

Try to put your name on the waiting list. I did that last year and a table luckily.

as for French, I recommend Hermitage for this event. I tried that last year! The service, atmosphere, and the food were great! Don't feel shy to ask the server for recommendations. They are really nice! :)

yes, it has live music. The music is pretty good.
although my last experience wasn't very good b/c the service was not that good and it's too pricy to go during regular days, I hope it turns out well for you

we made reservations for gotham and joe fortes
we were gonna call lumiere too
but the phone line was busy for the longest time -.-

btw i think gotham is yummy though
wayyy better than the keg!

Good News! "Nu" is accepting reservations now! Also, it starts the event earlier than other restaurants. It starts on the Jan 15th. More room for reservations! :-)

I went there for my birthday last year and I felt that the steak itself is just a little bit better then the Filet Mignon that I usually orders when I go to the Keg

I also like the sour dough bread at the Keg more for some reason

But I do enjoy the environment at gothem's though~

ohohoh i loveee the sour dough bread at the keg!!! i eat so much of it every time!! =p
i only like the keg's prime rib
the ribeye etc..they always over cooked.. i order medium and sometimes medium well.. they're well done like 90% of the time
the quality of the beef of gotham's is alot better too i think...

anyways updating my list =p
gotham, joe fortes, chambar, a kettle of fish, and da pasta bar =p

it's only $15.. so might as well give it a try :laugh:

I think the keg's best steak is fillet mingnon..
I always order medium rare and it's really good :)
but I must agree gotham's cooking skill is better
when you order something medium they will give u medium inside out
not like the keg maybe sometimes overcook sometimes too raw @@
