heheh, i've never seen taiwanese news before. i occasionally catch a few glimpses of it on other people's TV and always thought the stuff they put on their news is kinda weird. There's always missing pieces to the information and i always thought my mandarin sucked so much i didn't understand the full story.

so now i know it wasn't my problem. haha!

I agree w/ tw media is quite un-professional and news are entertainment-ized
but I wonder if this clip is also biased..

cuz it's keep on emphasizing how 專業 hk media are
but wut about 壹周刊 n 狗仔隊?

I agree with you on that part. But experiments done by them is quite unthinkable. That this sort of new items will ends up on prime time new...

well i think more or less there will be some bias in there...and even tho they criticise on how "mediatized" Taiwanese news are...their production is pretty "mediatized" too with the slow motion, background music, and fancy special effects...and we never know how the producer chose the interviewers and what he filtered...
but then i think they've pointed some key issues in Taiwanese news network...
and good thing is this clip caught Taiwanese ppl's attention... and maybe some will think and try to do something with the taiwanese news system....
and since they are focusing on news network...i'm not sure 壹周刊 and 狗仔隊 are part of news network..i thought they are more of entertainment magazine type of thing...
