Hi, I am 26, working at an autobody shop. Ever since I got out of school, it seems hard to meet friend. So bascially i see same old boring people everyday at work.... How do you guys meet friends? Any good suggestion to share with us?

I quit clubbing. Play sport with who? I have work, no time for school YET. I still don't know if i should meet friends online......back then when i was still young, i got some bad experience, LOL Now to think of it, it is funny, more looking for a way to meet personally, not online. Anyways....thanx for your comment.

if you really want to meet them in person
then go to church or temple, most of them are nice and friendly
or go play online games and you'll meet many friends (my ex met her bf by playing online game...)

OR

go find a part-time sales-related job then you'll meet alot new friends
I know someone who has 2 jobs (works 70+ hour/week) and still take class and he joins and plays on a basketball team; recently he just set up his own business too... so not having enough time isn't really a valid excuse!

Meeting people online is fun, more like "神交" (就像我跟阿芸 哈哈) you like this person then you chat with him/her more and find out more about him/her on their blog/friendster/facebook/ringo or even google them! If this person 'clicks' then you can get his/her phone number then you'll meet one day eventually!

If you don't like this person then just don't chat or even block him/her. there's nothing to lose! BUT very importantly, you have to be sincere and honest behind your computer, that's how you can meet the same kinda people...

perhaps finding a hobby can help, ppl with similar interests
or even something that interests you...reading, cooking, sawing(don't know if that would be suitable) but just a few things to name

sometimes it's not about having # of fds that count
it's the quality of time that you spent that count

Same here. I have around 60 hours/week of work, take care of a business, do housework everyday at home. Now spending 2 hours 3 times a week to do execise. So I really have little time. Only availble time is weekend. I haf been thinking about the church or maybe cut down some stuff to meet friends. I have already consider your method. Just want see what you guys do to meet friends. Anyways, thanks for your advise.

U mean online games? I am playing guildwars now, but only weekend, not that much time. My trade has one problem. It is all guys, so we hardly have new coworkers, plus not anyone can do this trade.

Actually me and my gf broke up just not long ago. Maybe my mom is right. The old doesn't go, u don't get new ones, haha...
