你光車子平均一個月就差不多要500~600了(保險 油錢 保養ETC)
也要吃東西吧～ 一個月最少也要 300
房租～ 看怎麼住吧～一個月也最少要500(單一房)
算一算 一個月也要賺個1600 才夠生活

差不多, 差不多,
如果一個月賺個$2600 以上的話就可以月存一千啦.

而且很多公司都有福利制度,
像是stock option, 或你存年金它們也match 你.
利用這些優惠, 一個月想存到一千也不難.

不過存錢很辛苦啦, 再怎麼樣也比不上銜著金湯匙出生的幾個朋友們.

怎麼變的好冷....之前很熱鬧的說

原因是 逼不得已
因為要留在這上大學

是走的比來的多吧!新來的都大陸人,菲律賓人,阿叉...
很多台灣年輕人這裡唸完書,都去中國大陸幫父母做生意,
不會想移民來這裡剷雪割草交稅養老...

I'm still here as well! But I have to say alot of my friends DID go back (hui liu?)

Those who go back generally have a harder time... but at the same time its a trade off of lifestyles. Crowded cities, bad pollution, lower living standards, less government supported amenities... same as those who head back to HK.

Making $40k-50k CDN here is a relative modest income, while the equivalent in TWN would be quite well off.

I'm considering the same myself... but I did come here pretty early so I'm used to the overseas lifestyles : )

The 15% standard income tax is pretty attractive though... versus CRA's 40%+ once you cross $48k... aii... no easy decision!
