Edmonton is definitely booming in many aspects but I just need a change in environment. For what I do and according to my little research, I'll probably get about the same pay in B.C. (well, I hope :P). I'm not looking forward to the packing and unpacking parts of the moving process ...

think about the nice summer weather though it's shortlive for about 3 months
and the partying you can have though nothing comparable to Hk/China

then Burnaby/VAN is the place to be

If you're looking for weird weather, this is the place to be! At least you can travel to Richmond if you're looking for some serious good chinese food. If you want korean, you can head over to coquitlam, it's only approximately 20 minutes from Burnaby depending on where you live. Send out your resumes before you move out.

yeah, definitely Edmonton pays higher wage.

i m lived in Vic for about 5 yrs,
recently i decided to move to burnaby as well.
i mean camparing both citys, Vic is just too boring.
However, Vic pays way higher wage.
around two- three times high in average, n still vic is still short on labor.
thats why, i decided to work in Vic and live in Burnaby
(just cnt give up my job)


Edmon VS Burnaby
both got big malls
Burnaby has warmer but rainy weather
Burnaby not that far from van, n its easy to get around
Burnaby is closer to TW :P
Burnaby got better TWese food
Edmon has better chance and high-pay jobs
Edmon has better price on gas
Edmon has very freakin cold weather
