Next time, like my manager did. Write down something on a piece of paper like how it happened and ask both party to sign the paper so when u go to ICBC, they cannot lie. Don't think Taiwanese will help Taiwanese. Most people don't wanna spend money so their words is always to their advantage.

If things like this happens, be cruel. If they don't wanna to sign and it's not a small accident, just call the police too. (if it's not your fault of course.)

One of my co-worder's car got hit and the other side doesn't want him to report to icbc and agreed to give him whatever needed to fix but later change his mind when the cost is too great...

People panic when accidents happened and will say anything to get out of the situation and afterwards, after friends and family's consulation and "advice", they will change their words to their advantage... Remember that.
