i don't think he can find out ur address by ur IP address...
unless he has some 內線 in ur ISP company...
ISPs are not allowed to give others their customers' information(it's against the law)

but u should definitely call the police for this~
it's just that it'll be troubling tho...
try to get his IP address and give that info to the police,
they have the authority to find out that guy's identity from his ISP company~~

i think using dsl/cable usually get a static IP. Although they said it's dynamic, I'm always getting one IP address. That is why dsl/cable users are more likely to be hacked than modem users.

But unless they have some inside information to internet providers, it is not very possible to get your address by IP.

personally, i think the guy is just bluffing.... unless you have sent him pictures before and etc.. otherwise.. how would he know you're really a female...... there are many " he-she" on the net.. you know.....

and i dont think u should worry that much about it.. at least from you just said... unless he has some real physical hard information of your whereabout or relative/friend/school and etc...

anyway... i also think its just an icq bot that sends out chain msgs...
