Well.. it's like this.
I was working yesterday..

or the day before... this lady came in with a $5 bill to buy a $2 lottery ticket from me. Sure I greeted her and all and smiled like I treat every other customer.. at the end of the transaction she asked if I could give her some change for the bus.
So since she's got $3 worth of change, I took the Lonnie and i gave her 4 quarters back along with her toonie... then she said.. Oh can you make that into two Loonies for me?
I looked into my cash register and sees that I only have a few loonies left, so I nicely said to her.. "sorry Ms, but I really can't 'cuz i'm really low in loonies" Then this nice lady all the suddent got all angry and said, "WELL I ONLY CAME IN HERE TO GET SOME CHANGE. THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT THIS TICKET"
i was like.. uh.. yeah... but I gave you what I can, like normally I would give ppl some change if I can do it. but if i can't, I just can't.
and she went on and said, "You know wut? I am never coming back to your store again. What ever happend to people? they are all so inconsiderate now"
and she proceded to walk out of the store...
This really puzzles me... she's calling me an inconsiderate person.. what about herself? Maybe she should stop and think about what she's saying. I didn't do what she asked me to because I don't have the ability to do her a favor. But yet she's demanding it from me. How is she being considerate??
Oh well.. I'm used to these types of person now anyways... but that really got me thinking.. sometimes we are so Ego-centric.. self-focused.. that we only see things from our prespective.. I questioned myself.. do I do what that lady just did to me moments ago to other people? Am I an inconsiderate person? Do I often put myself in other people's shoes and think from the other person or people's point of view?
If you ask yourself that same question, what would you have yourself called? Considerate? or inconsiderate?
