2 days ago.. visa called my dad
and said "oh.. we suspected that ur credit card # got copied"
and they cut my dad's card

today they called me .. said the same thing

and both cases happened after we pumped gas at petro-can..
we both paied at the pump.......

does that mean i shoudln't go to petro for gas now? -_-''

we went to the same petro-can
it's on knight & 33rd..

so... i guess... ppl should watch out when going to that one for gas!

but it was the last transaction that i had last night.. and this morning they called.. the first thing they asked was
"did u use ur credit card at petro-canada yesterday?"

and that was the same with my dad


i still wonder... why do they know that the # was copied?!?

It's possible that with recent high price of gas, some people steal credit card and use it for gas since it doesn't require signature or ID. It probably happen often enough for VISA to check if same credit card is used in same place many times.
