PIGGY~~ i used ur CD and install on my gf comp. its working fine.. but when i install on mine.. i cant get on ICQ!!!

like... it just shows up a problem and ask me if i want to report the problem!!! and wont let me start the ICQ!!!!

how do i fix it!! i am just using some web icq for now...

HELP.. if anyone know whats the problem..

i cant open icq... i reintalled/re downloaded/ re started, even reinstalled XP window..... all failed...... HELP!!!

i just did that.. i reinstalled my XP window....

and then ok.. everything looks good... until i DL ICQ again and then install it... the same problem happened again..

"ICQ has some problems, must shut down now" something like that.. and ask me if i want to report the problem to microsoft.. and no matter which one i choose( yes/no) ICQ shuts down on itself....

i think that happanes on my sis's com too. . .

but sometimes icq works fine..

i have no idea..

1st......
did u completely format ur HD?? or just reinstal windows???

2nd...
tried to download the latest version of icq.....
if still doesn't work, tried to download ealier version of icq
like 2000 or 2001.....

also, did u use the windows update???

make sure you are in administrator when you install things.

private username are ok, but make sure the private username is part of administrator group.
