Geforce 32mb should work fine.....

A Geforce 2 64MB cost ~$70
A Geforce 4 64MB DDR cost ~ $100

Good video cards are very cheap nowdays.

Cause my friend said that his Asus Geforce 4 is not good,

but his brother's Geforce TI series are good ( forget which brand)

My bro's old card, geforce 32mb runs CS really well

My geforce 2 64mb, runs well too

His geforce 2 64mb ddr, also runs well.............

CS is a simple game to run. I don't think the game requires big equipment.

Make sure you have updated all the drivers to the latest one. That includes video card, sound card, keyboard, mouse, network card etc. And most important, make sure your "motherboard" is updated too.

I have installed Win XP lately and the computer crashes whenever I am running any graphic intense program. After updating every drivers including motherboard, my computer is running fine.

I suspect that may be the case with your Geforce 4 video card.

Nvidia Geforce2 MX400 is quite enough
of course if u are buying the card for future games as well...then Geforce 4 TI4200 will be pretty nice (price/performance)

u have to see wat kind of Asus Geforce 4....if its MX440 its just basically a better geforce 2....correct me if i'm wrong.....Ti are better coz they got full performance chipset......Geforce4 Mx miss one chip i think...so they dun perform as good....but can still play cs with great quality

my new comp is using nvidia geforce4.......:P

but ya.....geforce2 is really enough for cs.....u can use OpenGL..
