i think was the salo trade, he is one of the better defenceman canucks get. i think nucks have solid d's. just need more veteran guys. just baron wont work. i didnt think the langdon trade was too bad after a few weeks watching the work. its always good to have some big guys who can protect the team after brasher left canucks.

PS. Canucks just won 7 straight!!! WA HA HA HA... Canucks seem unbeatable now!! i mean, their penalty kill... damn good, i watched this game, first one in quite some time, man oh man.. PK was efficient, and not doing anything fancy.. power play was good, not as many chances, but they did when have chance. Again, canucks maybe shouldnt have won this game, but their PK said a lot why they are still the NUMBER ONE in the league!!

if you look at the stats carefully, a lot of players playing just over 10min a game.. and he playing 8 min.. yes, not a lot.. but it is his job to make the most of it.. why? because every player on that team has earned his right playing 15 min a game by producing at 5 min a game, 8 min a game, 10 min a game first.. none of them started geting big minutes when they were rookie!


if he doesnt produce, then too bad, you gotta go down. However, dont get me wrong, i really like fedor fedorov, i think he is going to be another great player!!! and he is the type of player that canucks love.. he shuts up and work hard.. thats all you could ask for!

but hey, i heard on news that canucks.. if they keep this up and getting home court advantage in playoff, fedorov may get traded to get some veteran blueliner help, or a 2nd line scoring center.. i think that would be a bad move... trade someone else to get 2nd line.. someone like Ruutu, who is ready in NHL, and a very good player, Canucks are just too deep for him to crack this year.. thats all.. otherwise. he is a very good checking forward for other teams!!
