and yes, whats last yeat got to do with player of the month in november?

and why the heck you bring in calgary for? read today's newspaper, it said that canucks are successful because they are not cocky.. if canucks players sound like you do, canucks probably will have a record of 5-15-4 now instead of 15-5-4..
no offense, but keep your stats right, and dont bring in something irrelevant.. :) :)

i don't think he's good at handling pucks. but that's good. at least he doesn't run around tryin' to handle the puck all the time. if ur not good at it, dont' do it.

you call GAA of 2.15 is high??

if you do, you really have to get your facts straight compared to other statistics.

11-1 in a month, deserves the award!

2.15 is LOW.
but anything over 2.50 is not solid.
sigh... i remember those days, anything that's under 3 was considered pretty decent.

you mean during mike bossy NY islander days? or super power Edmonton Oilers days with Gretzky, or early 90s with Pittsburgh days with Lemiuex..

those days... daxx, thats a lot of goals, and if you have GAA under 3, you give yourselves a chance to win player of the month man~

anyway, its defence-first hockey now, and this is why it is exciting to see canucks play, because they play good offence and pay good enough attention to defence. ( canucks was the #1 ranked goal scored for team last year, 1 more than Detroit's 60M payroll )

i came here in 1992, and started watching canucks around late 93 and again in 94 ( the year they went to the cup final !!!!!!!!!!! oh ya!! still remember the ppl horning their cars waving canucks flags!! haha)

anyway, mario.. unbelivable combo with jagr. never watched how gretz play in the 80s, but in early 90s, greztky still had those 160 pts a season as LA kings!!

anyway, do you look back now and compare and say that 150+ pt season is no longer possible in NHL these days?? or even those 70+ goals? i know selenne, hull, grez and mogilny and etc have done that in the 90s, but i think these marks are no longer possible, especially gretz record of 201pt season.. ( thats 2.50+ pt avg per game! )

the reason i think was that they were generating lots of shots. when u shoot alot, u have chance to get lots og goals. but canucks this year gets outshot by opponents
