You know what I hate about go carts? I am running race route and others are not. They just run into me when I midway through my turn and spin my cart around.
There is some race route for go -kart only
i saw it and it is a little bit different
but I just hate guys don't know how to drive and then hit others or cut beside me and to corner he smash me to wall
so damn stupid

I like Tsawassen's F440 better.
It's outdoors, and the grip is far better than the TBC one. There are two types of karts to choose from - slow / fast. Not a lot of people go there, but a lot of go-kart racers go there to test. So you can talk to them and learn a lot from them. Their garage is also accessible to everyone, so you can actually go in and talk to their mechanics.

We, SFUTA, did a go-kart event at TBC before. We booked the place and placed 8 or 9 teams in their Enduro Race. The things that bother me the most at TBC are 1) their karts run on ultra hard compounds (for outdoor use) to save cost (their mechanics confirmed that), 2) their karts are slow, 3) it's indoors so the track temperature is always very low (helps you slide around a lot, but won't help your lap times at all)!

Having said all that, it IS better to hold "meets" and "events" at TBC. Tsawassen is not the right environment, and has little to none on-site amenities.

slow have slow play
if you can't play well in slow
you won't do well in fast too
that's what I think

It's one thing to have a slow kart that cannot go fast.
It's another thing to have no traction because of outside influences.

A slow kart will improve your lines and your approach.
It forces you to think and execute within a tight parameter.

No traction because of hard compound tires and a freezing track will not help you learn the correct lines and approach. It will help you learn the line best suited for drifting. Drifting is not the fastest way to attack a track - in fact it's proven to be the slowest way.

So if I am slow because I suck, then I will admit I suck. But if it is something that I cannot control - like the track temperature, and hard compound tires they put on to save cost - then I will take my wallet somewhere else.

My 2 cents.

I don't think go cart will ever improve my lines. When I try I just get ram into and end my day.
