slow have slow play
if you can't play well in slow
you won't do well in fast too
that's what I think |
It's one thing to have a slow kart that cannot go fast.
It's another thing to have no traction because of outside influences.
A slow kart will improve your lines and your approach.
It forces you to think and execute within a tight parameter.
No traction because of hard compound tires and a freezing track will not help you learn the correct lines and approach. It will help you learn the line best suited for drifting. Drifting is not the fastest way to attack a track - in fact it's proven to be the slowest way.
So if I am slow because I suck, then I will admit I suck. But if it is something that I cannot control - like the track temperature, and hard compound tires they put on to save cost - then I will take my wallet somewhere else.
My 2 cents.
