Anyone got some experinces disbuting speeding tickets? Any stories, tips or tricks..?

Disbute it and if the officer forget to show up at the court. You don't have to pay the fine. Even if officer show up sometimes Judge might lower the ticket fine amount.

all radar detectors are all about the same, except perhaps those Escort Passport ones that cost u like 300-400 bux USD

Can anyone help me with this?

I have a disputed ticket in March 2001. I had waited almost a year to get the 傳票 from the court. And I had a change of address in Feb. 2002. However, after I change the address on my license, I still didn't get my 傳票.

A couple days ago, I receive a mail from ICBC saying that I had a traffic violation in March 2001 and it's been recorded. And I have to pay for my 點數 for my license. (300 bucks!!! Blood sucker!)

I saw the trial date was June 6, 2002. However, I didn't receive any notice to show up in the court. When I ask the 監理處 about the date of my trial, they just told me that there is no way to find out for them.

I think this is really unfair to me and I don't want to pay that fine and the 300 dollars for my 點數. What should I do?
