Guess you gotta go through it personally to understand it.

u got me wrong, as i said earlier i can't care less of other cars trying to pass me, i'd just stay around the speed limit. but by tailgating i mean those drivers that intentionally trying to pick up on u.
it's very easy to tell if a guy is pick on u, and i've experienced it too many times.

its interesting seeing how ppl react ....

once i was driving home very late at night and i was goin at the speed limit. There was this truck tailgating me and it really pissed me off. Not because he was tailgating me but his damn headlights... I downshifted and slow down. While he was trying to overtake me on the other lane I just punched it. The guy just made my day when i looked at his face. Of course the guy was really pissed at me but i just waved goodbye and i was gone :)

yup, I guess everybody here's old enough to know if someone's tailgating you for fun or trying to pass you for emergency. The earlier posts on this topic looked like ppl would do anything to piss off the car behind them when they are too close.

Tailgater sucks.

One night I was heading from work driving down #3, this annoying SUPER WHITE beam illuminate the entire block. That just made my day after a hard day from work. I was pissed. So I decide to box the f@@@er in. He was weaving in and out of traffic just to get infront. Finally he gets on my tail....a 2001 white 3 series. The car on my left was doing about 55km/h and I did the same, you know "Pak tall" with the car beside you. The dude in the beamer got so mad that he almost went over to the opposite t lanes just to get pass. The car beside me made a right turn and i was left all along with him. The beamer came up to my side and started to mimic my move. Luckly, I was driving an automatic at the time, and i made him upshift and downshift about...20times? LOL, his car was shaking up and down from all the hard braking and accerlating. You should of seen that guy's face, he was so pissed.:biglaugh: Ha, I didn't force him to copy my move, so all his own fault, what a loser. I guess he got tired and speed off doing +100km/h.

I hate driving in Richmond....most people here don't know how to drive....not to mention having no common sense.:angry fir

well...what abt if u are going 80km/hr and the speed limit is 50km/hr and that ass is still tailgating u...

u're already violating the law if u're blocking the ambulance. but how many of us would be stupid enough to block the way of an ambulance? when u hear the siren pull aside and stop, it's the basic.
tailgating is moronic, there's no way to justify the deed as long as the car in the front is going at the speed limit.
