bascially it's similar to a Prius.....only it's not meant for gas milage but for driving rear wheel to make 4wd

there's a 4wd switch in the car, when u turn it on....the electric generator hooked to the front wheel will start generating electricity for the motor connected to the rear wheel, so therefore you get 4wd:)

what a nice simple way to have light duty 4wd coz motor is very efficient, no ceter diff+drive shaft needed to connect engine power to the rear wheel, retain good interior space:)
