Seriously... a fast car on the road is nothing if the driver is not fast. Learn using a underpowered car, it'll help you more than you think! :)

Fast is an objective thing. I like my Astra's performance around corners though I know straight line isn't all that flashy but what's the fun in going fast in a straight line??!!??

I think people who solely focus on straight line speed can't drive for peanuts. That's just my personal opinion.
