i drive a RSX too, i go to sfu everyday, i use 3 rd gear to go down the hill, about 90km.....if you use tiptronic, your RPM should not change unless you up/downshift or step on the gas, if you use D, it will adjust your rpm for you ie, step on the brakes the engine will brake itself......hm.....u using tiptronic wehn going down rite? let me try it tmr and see if it happens....

that's why i am wondering why this happened...
kinda worried about it...

but i don't wanna make myself look stupid at the service when they say it's normal.... lol

even if you are using tiptronic, when your engine reaches a certain speed, it will change the gears itself to prevent damage and fuel efficiency.....my car is like that too....i dont' htink it's something big to worry about....i only got a couple thousand on my ride....so i guess it's normal....:) :biglaugh:

Nope... Honda's Sport Shift doesn't shift up... it cuts fuel, but does NOT shift up....

Like I said, it's probably torque convertor lock/unlock.... nothing to worry about... I think... LOL...
