I think your best bet is to drag your friend who has a car to drive to the meet.

You are exposing yourself to potential danger by asking for a ride from someone you probably don't really know about.

A couple of recent tragedies that involved girls went missing should tell you that even Burnaby is no longer safe. Not saying there are bad people on my604, but just let you know.
