Example the Accord Euro R engine makes 90% torque from 2000 rpm up to 8400 rpm redline. Although it's a 2.0L engine with 152 lb-ft peak torque @ 6000 rpm. Engines with variable valve timing with both cam changing and cam phasing will have flatter torque and enhance high rpm capabilities. |

If you want to compare %, here is my torque curve. I know VTEC is good, but I think Honda is over advertise this great technology. :)
