I'm thinking about adding aftermarket water temp and oil guages to my car. Definitly not getting those A-pillar ones! And I'm not going for Autometer.

Can you guys tell me where you get yours and where do you mount them?

Why not go for Autometer?? They are cheaper and they work nicely. Where would you want to mount your gauges?

I like my autometer..ESPECIALLY AFTER I STUCK A SUPERWHITE INTO THE GAUGE

I donno~ haha, well, beside Autometer, what other choices are there?

I don't want to put it in my dash area....maybe mount it near the center vent over the stereo area~

That's lots of wiring. You can always go for HKS, APEX-i, Greddy...etc, but they will be at least 2x more $$ than the Autometer. Also, will you able to see the gauges while you are driving if you install the gauge in the center vent area?

Yeah, I think it'll be alright if I put them there. I can just scan my eyes over, like I always do to look at the clock.

Now, where can I get guages? Gonna have to check out prices before i decide what to get~

I wont' recommend you to do that
I used to think that way too
but after I installed the vac+boost gauge, I discovered that I always have my eyes on them since it looks TOO MUCH FUN

so...it's gonna be dangerous

Another question, what's the difference between mechanical and electronic guages?
