Because the Lancer Cedia that the EVO is based on doesn't come in 2 doors. Anyway, EVO never came in 2 doors though there has been variants of the Lancer floorplan.


Also a correction, there is no EVO 8.. it's a 7... The Tommi Makkinen Edition is an unofficial EVO 6.5 as it's still based on the EVO 6 running gear.


If it was between the 2, I'd pick the EVO though the days where EVO would kick the pants off the STi by a big margin is closing.
