C Coupe without option is just...bad
and I don't like the 1.8l engine

TSX, follow by VW, then Mazda 6.....

Jetta/Golf is made in Maxico... but is pretty well assembled.... quality is really good.... rear legroom can be kind of packed though compare to Mazda 6 or even TSX....

TSX is the newest, and with 6-speed manual, should be a very fun car to drive.... very well equipped for its price, too.....

Altima 3.5SE is a good choice, too... right in the price range as well....

I like Mazda 6 a lot, for its V6, style, handling, roominess etc. the Wagon is wat i look forward to have the most. For 35K you are getting the good fully loaded one, so no worries about having cheap interior of the cheap trim


I like TSX too, i am sure it has higher built quality than the 6, i also sat into the EuroR during my trip to japan in christmas, it's nice. but then, I dun like the exterior, and it's a 4banger too. 35K for a 4 banger? man, i dunno, seems a little bit too $.


Golf is a fun car to have especially at our age. pretty fast when it's chipped too, being a euro is also a plus. but then, i dunno if it's still true for the new 2003
golf, all golf tat my friends have are having all sorta little problems. and 35K for a Golf, kinda overpriced for a toy is it.

What about the Nissan Altima? Should be around that price range too...very very roomy car!

4 banger? 3k more than an mazda6, it's not too bad
and like u said, i get more built quality... 3 k and better
service when i go take it in... for service..

i agree that many of which our opinions are based on
styling and such.. but i think to call it "a 4 banners and 35k it's not worth it" i don't think ti's fair...

u said the k24 is the same series that honda use
and it's just a longer block than the k20..
but look at how many times the 1.8t have been used?
which btw is also a 4 cylinder

I would get the Mazda6 '4 banger' :)

for around 30k Loaded with options, and you'd still have the 5k to use for getting a Mazdaspeed Kit from Japan :)

Though it would be a little shy in power compaired to the TSX, but I dun think it would be any less of a fun car to drive against the TSX.

The road will be filled with RSX and TSX sooner or later... I'd go for the 6 just to be different :)

oh and arn't they making a Turbo version of it in Japan?
there would be more parts avaliable for the '4 banger' then the modified Ford V6 :)
