Zeta....would you happen to know how much it costs to import SR20DET??? price is for red top or black top?

if i was not color blind they're red top SR20

It's basically same engine as altima, but it is FWD.

Can FWD and RWD interchange?

Not without extensive work. Forget changing engines unless it's really feasible. Unless it's built from the same platform, the chances that it would be "cheap" is unlikely.


Heaps of people here put in turbo engines from the Supra into old A series Celica (i.e. the RWD ones from the 70's and 80's). At least that is feasible because it all fits in without mucking around with engine mounts or floorplan modifications etc.

yeah engine swaps cost u alot.....it's not like just putting another engine to ur car, alot more to follow up
that's the main reason it didn't happen to mine
i really dun think FWD and RWD can be interchanged

if ur altima is VQ35 powered u can probably just swap the head from a 350Z engine, no need to get the whole engine

i like Rb26 better coz' it's more racing oriented....can't say no to twin turbo +8200RPM redline, it's like the best of both worlds
