He said it's okay if you inform the buyer of your car of your actions. But 99% of the time when people roll back their mileage it is to get a better resale value because it shows less than what's actually driven.

i know that, i am not selling my car, i just want to do the speedometer+ odometer swap, i can get it from someone else, he bought a Canadian FD, but he wants the MPH speedometer+odometer, coz he lives in the states, and I want the KPH..COMEON~~~ there must be a way to adjust the mileage number!!!! someone!!!!! HELP ME!

It's against the law to alter your odometer in any way. That means no rolling back the mileage you have driven since taken ownership.

I'll would guess that would be illegal anywhere in the world.

If you want to wind the clock back, just pull the whole thing apart. The only time you'll know how to do it is to do it yourself. No one is going to tell you step by step how to do these illegal things so if you want to do it, then good luck to you.

And I do not condone the actions such as this as not only is it illegal but also very unethical.

Go visit a wrecking yard with some 7's and ask for the dial cluster.

Very true... but still, it's referred to it as a series.... dun ask me why coz it's not unusual for people to call a series 6 RX7... which is what this FD is (I think)... aiya.. forgot now... not really a 7 fan...

Just pull the thing apart and look inside. It won't hurt to see what's inside.. who knows.. maybe easy to do... then again, maybe not.
