yeah, probably just increased displacement to increase some torque

they won't change the engine until it's completely redesigned

They are doing this because people still feel the car lacks torque even though there is 85-90% available at 3000 rpm. Also they are planning to mate the car with an automatic tranmission as sales have slow down throughout the world. USA was the last market to shown a decrease in sales so something has to be done before the complete remodel version comes out.

this sucks.....IMO, real sports cars should only come with manuel transmission, that's the spirit
but then most rich people buy sports cars for the vanity, not for what's sports cars are built for

If the US market sales didn't slow down as much I don't think Honda would worry about appealing more to the mass. They are going to update it so that people who can't drive stick can enjoy the car too.
