How much I spent on my car? Heh I dunno a normal Protege P5 woulda costed more than all the money I've spent on this thing :smoke: and I eat P5s for breakfast even before engine rebuild :good: The other reason why I don't swap is because this is the 2nd engine of the car already, if I swap history is going to repeat itself only, the only way to make a 4AG reliable is a complete strip down and rebuild. :unstable: <- like this

Haha Kadon I saw ur engine out of ur car already and I see that they want more $$ for the JE pistons 'coz ur car is too new and the pistons are probably the first batch.....sucks to mod a new car eh? :biglaugh:

you spent $10K on ur 86, and where does the thing get u? eating P5s? c'mon $10K you can do a lot more than putting them on rebuilding, clutch, recaro seat etc..

Just dropped by the shop today and the engine is well taken apart. The piston rings were broken as expected, everything else seems ok. The block and head will be sent to machine shop for porting, polish and balance. Won't see it in another week. Hope the custom JE Piston will be here on time so everything can put together before Nov. Turbo seems smaller than I expected.. well 12G turbo.. can't expect much. Here are some of the picts.
