This freaking morning, I don't know about any other morning is pissing me off..I stucked in traffic..from hasting to SFU to Marine drive and that bridge to richmond. Freaking took me 2 hours just to drive thru. traffic.
Especially from hasting to north road..this morning the ground was with slushy snow melting and slippery around 8. I was in the middle of 65 degree mountiain stuck there for 35 mins, 塞車可以說是手排的致命傷。。
freaking...stuck with 1st gear...most of the time..
after 30 mins in traffic jam going up the mountain, I smell terribly bad smell coming out of the car...
assuming it's from clutch or brake..
Man...then the reving was sort of running funny and weird.

then the smell continues everytime i go over 3k RPM..

I hate snow..on the road...even tho i love snowboarding..
but snow slows everybody down so much...
stupid traffic..and my poor baby...smells.. :cry:

that's gotta suck real bad... stuck in traffic with a manual... and 2 hours.. wow..

time to treat your baby to a nice wash and wax to make it up to her lol

i don't mind stuck in normal condition road, but that morning was with lots of slushy snow on the ground, and i was stuck on middle hill of the mountain for 35 mins with summer tires. If i stop completely and go.., the skidding could be worse than if i hold it in the middle of hill. that's why i over driven the 1 gear and the smell last over the whole day..and RPM running funny afterwards..

It's not like you are driving a 20 year old FR car with a racing clutch, stop whining. on the mountain if u don't ride the clutch up the hill properly u'll sideswap the car on the next lane without moving forward. :shakehead

I had to ride my bike to UBC everyday this summer, and always got stuck in traffic on Oak and sometimes SW Marine. My clutch hand(left hand) was hurt so bad that I had a hard time curling up my middle finger. This didn't go away until like 1 month after I stopped riding. :midfinger

yeah..I did skid a couple times...
but I am using a racing clutch tho.
not as heavy as those hard racing clutch..
but it is harder than normal clutchs..
stuck in the middle of the mountain for a while make my leg trembles..i have to shake it a little after that 2 hours of traffic..not to mention the snowy road condition.
