Get Phillips HiVisibility, BlueVision and Premium+, they are the best for now. Those Jap/Kor/Taiwan made bulbs are useless and waste of money. In fact, they are not anywhere close to 130/135W, if it really give you that kind of output, all the plastic parts inside your housing will probably melt since they are not design for that kind of heat. Just take a closer look at their boxes, it said "LIKE" 130/135W output, but they are just some 55/60W bulbs. I have purchased a pair of PIAA real 80W H3 bulbs(for rally/offroad use), they are HOT & Bright as hell; these 80W bulbs almost melt the plastic covers behind the housing.

If you have enough cash, get HID conversion Kit.

yeh rain/fog.......i realise that will be a problem too. No doubt yellow bulbs have the best effect during rain or heavy fog.

hmm.maybe i'll change them later after the snowing season. Therez actually not many heavy rain days in TO.

In really heavy fog, yellow light does light up the road without much glare.

I've ordered from powerbulbs. Only took a week to get here though I've stopped using the Philips all weather bulb in place of an Osram all weather for everything except high beam (more yellower).

Kev: If the bulb isn't giving the full ampage, the bulb will glow dull yellow. It's like using the dimmers for those halogen spot lights you might have for the home.
