There is an issue with the 2.5 and H6 engines that has yet to be solved. I don't want to say what it is but I'll let you know if it's fixed or not.

Just in the new Legacy. Foresters, the old Legacy & Impreza are fine.

It hasn't been a major issue so far but the service centres are starting to find some of those problems.

I think I miss out something here, what sort of problem is there with the new Legacy, Forestors? You mentioned the old Legacy & IMpreza are fine but how about the new IMpreza TS sedan?

It only affects the new Legacy that you will get shortly (we've had ours for 6 mths already). All other models (all Impreza, all Forester, older Legacy) are not affected at all. I'm not allowed to say what the problem is and it's not a major issue if you do what your owner's manual says. (Read: read your owner's manual before driving if you haven't done so)
