Just had my car done an oil change in Richmond Honda today!

Last oil change i was using OEM oil, after the Motul 8100 oil change this time i can definitly say the car is A LITTLE BIT SMOOTHER AND QUIETER! And this i can fairly say that this is not a placebo effect.

But afterall, this is just an oil change for a stock car, don't expect some night and day difference!

actually it's a very good deal do oil change at Honda!

for oil change, you can DIY
it's easy, everyone can do it

my friend had bad experience w/ Richmond Honda

when my friend did an oil change, Honda just change the oil w/o changing the oil filter and still charge him $4x plus tax

if you supply them oil, can you 100% sure they will put it in your car or just put the "Honda" oil and take your oil away???

you will still feel the diferent after a regular oil change, if you want to confirm your car has your oil or not, you can try it yourself

when i had my 99 honda prelude w/ regular 5w30 and runs really hard, 1 liter oil gone after an hour, but no oil burn when i use 5w50

hehe, it's ok man......I know how to do oil change, but for $10 i'll just let them do it, save me time and hassle of jacking up the car :good:

I am actually quite surprised at how cheap they charge for labor so that's why i went for it.

btw did u have some serious mod or do you do a lot of hard driving with your car? 5w50 is a little excessive man, it gives you extra protection but it's gonna slows ur car down a little bit also

and after the oil change.....i get my bottle of Motul oil back too, with around .5L left in it. Plus i checked my oil it's clean.

Mark your filter before sending it in.. only way to find out if it's been changed or not.

no mod at all, everything is stock include I/H/E
and it's only 30k on the motor
when i use 5w50, oil burn improve and feel smooth when i accelerate

my friend driving an SH which he autoX and crazy shit with me he's not having problem with 5w30

he switched 5w40 now for the supposely better protection but then he realized the car isn't running as strong

230km/h for an hr to Seattle?? You are lucky that your licence is still here.

One fact I just found out, from Richmond to Seattle is about 220km... assuming there is no line up at the boarder, you don't need a whole hr to get to Seattle

i think i was lucky at that time
cuz my friend drove to seattle after a month at around 180km/h
and stop by a police, then the police give him a ticket worth over thousand US
because there is traffic around, i have to slow down sometimes, so not 230 all the way, i was doing 230 most of the time, can't go more, cuz the limiter is around 235
