if u're lowering your car, chances are, you're gona have to remove your mud guards or lese they'll scratch the speed bumps everywhere you go.

Those 'soft' ones can be found almost anywhere i think... i think even Canadian tires have them.

sorry about my silly question......... how come some cars with a body kits do not need any mud guard ? wont their kits of car body be damaged? or any other reason.......... ? by the way, how much will it be for lowering a corolla, any 1 knows? thanks so much. ( some ppl said i should stick with TRD lowering spring.......... but they are hella expensive =,= what about the aftermarket one? i ahve ehard of...hotchicks or somethings like that..........o when i lower the car, do i need to put on the strut bar as well..........?

thanks in advance.

get good ones or dont get at all....
when u use lowering springs u might want to consider changing ur shocks too.....mud guards gotta go man.... they look awkward and they dont provide any protection for body kits.... they guard mud only...

any aftermarket springs can kill your shocks........

given OEM shocks not always build to withstand the extra work exerted by aftermarket spring which is harder than OEM spring...

plus usually springs won't help you a lot with handling without shocks

i lowered my solara like 4 yrs ago.
i think TRD uses Eibach lowering springs. they're exactly the same but much cheaper.

also, eibach springs do not "over-lower" your car, like H&R. overall, my ride did not change much after lowering (except going through speed bumps ). i also kept my mud guards on, and i don't think they're damaged after the car's lowered.

so, it really depends on "how much" you want the car lowered. personally, i do not like cars to be over-lowered (like when the body is lower than the tires).
