Jspeed, do u know how dynamic can AYC split torque between the 2 rear wheel? Couldn't find the info anywhere.
No, I don't think Mitsubishi published that number. They claimed, however, that Super AYC (starting from evo8) has twice the torque transfer capability as the original AYC. For AYC, the amount of torque bias is equal to the clutch (in the differential) torque. For Super AYC, it can bias twice the clutch torque. Unfortunately, I can not find the torque handling figure for the differential clutch.

I didn't see you mentioning anything regarding SH-AWD main benefit which was spliting torque between rear wheels to create a more neutral handling something most AWD doesn't acheive. Mitsubishi's AYC can split torque between rear wheels but to not the degree of SH-AWD which can do up to 0%-100% or 100%-0%.
I see. So you were making additions to the info and not addressing to my points.
