Which ML350 are you talking about?

W163 ML350 with the 3.7L V6 or W164 ML350 with the 3.5L V6?

We have a RX330 and I can tell you Lexus is way better. The cushions are very soft and the blue ambient lighting is wonderful. The design is pretty futuristic with some wood and aluminum look plastic. It's very quiet and comfortable and the car is reliable. The car is fine in normal driving but if you floor it there is no grunt until almost redline. The brakes are pretty weak probaly due to the weight of the suv. The steering is too artificial as you can steer with 1 finger on the wheel.

I get W163 ML350 as loaner car all the time when I take Benz in for service/warranty. The car is pretty powerful but the car rides too stiff. The quality is a bit cheap but still liveable. As with other suv I find the brakes a bit lacking stopping power. If you are talking about W164 I seen it at the dealership and the interior is very nice. This car they change the gear shifter back into minivan style levers which I don't like.

W163 ML is not a bad car, but IMHO, a little too narrow, to high, too tippy for my liking. Every time I drive one as a loaner, it feels tippy when going over uneven HWY.

RX330 feel very car like. If one was blind folded and seat in a RX330, I swear they would not be able to tell the different between it and ES330.....

Most ppl who own a SUV don't actually go offroading, so why not pick one that rides the best on paved road?
